From small local restaurants offering a lunchtime €10 dish of the day menu accompanied by a demi of wine, to more upmarket restaurants with a range of menus to please the most discerning of palate, the Ariege will entice you in with its range of foods on offer.
In the local village you will find a small, friendly bar/restaurant open six days a week (not Wednesdays) where we can heartily recommend the Gambas on a skewer; everybody who has tasted them has gone back for more!
If you prefer a more culinary experience and are prepared to drive a little further, we will have no hesitation in pointing you in the direction of Foix, to a small, relatively newly opened restaurant run by a husband and wife team. John is a michelin star chef and freshly prepares all his food and sauces each day to provide an eating experience second to none. But leave room for dessert - you will be spoilt for choice!
